The park

Everything on the park, the beach within cycling distance

Recreatiepark de Wielen is in Sint Maarten, at the northern tip of the province of North Holland. A heated outdoor pool, 't Parkhuys, our self-service café with a pizzeria and a snack bar, our own fishing jetties on the lakes and the beach at Sint Maartenszee 6 kilometres away.

  • The beach within cycling distance 6 kilometres to the beach at Sint Maartenszee. Twenty minutes by bike through the polder.

When in 2027

Every season here has a face of its own

The park is open all year. What matters to you when you pick a week?

Spring

March to May. The bulb fields between the park and the coast are in flower, and you ride straight through them to the beach.

Summer

June to August. The pool open, the children in the playground and off to the sea by bike. The weeks that fill up fastest.

Late summer and autumn

September to November. An empty beach, walks along the dykes and the fishing jetties in the morning mist.

Winter

December to February. Short days, wind over the water and a hot pizza at 't Parkhuys. You can book for Christmas and New Year now as well.

Good to know

No small print afterwards. This is what applies when you book for 2027 now.

  • You book direct with the park, so no middleman and one point of contact for all your questions.
  • You pay a deposit when you book. The rest is due shortly before you arrive.
  • Bed linen and towels are included in the price for most holiday homes. Each one shows exactly what is included.
  • Tourist tax, the final clean and any extras are added to the rent separately.
  • Dogs are welcome in the dog-friendly holiday homes. You can see which those are when you book.

Bungalow was fijn ruim. We waren met 5 volwassenen en 2 flinke honden. Afgesloten tuin, zoals beloofd. We voelden ons welkom.(The bungalow was pleasantly spacious. There were five of us with two big dogs. A fenced garden, just as promised. We felt welcome.)

Anything unclear?

Can I book a week in 2027 already?

Yes. The whole of 2027 is open in our booking system, from January to December. You pick the holiday home and the dates and complete the booking online.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Our cancellation policy applies. Get in touch if your plans change, we are happy to think along with you.

What do I pay now and what later?

You pay a deposit when you book. The rest is due shortly before you arrive.

Are the 2027 prices already fixed?

The price you see when you book is the price of your booking.

Can we bring the dog?

Dogs are welcome in some of our chalets and bungalows, often with a fenced garden. You can filter for it when you book. The dog beach at Sint Maartenszee is within cycling distance.
