Winter vacations in the head of North Holland

Rest, nature and winter coziness

Winter in the Kop van Noord-Holland is surprisingly versatile. Nature comes to rest, the beach is quiet and the dunes offer space for fresh walks. In February, during the spring vacation, it is the perfect time to get away from it all: away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy and recharge together in a comfortable vacation home at Recreatiepark De Wielen.

Winter in the Kop

Winter is a wonderful season to go out. Plan a fun day out, a wonderful long weekend or wonderful holiday. Spend a day at a museum or get some fresh air on the beach.  Discover winter in the Kop van Noord Holland!

Schagen on Ice

In December there will be Schagen on Ice again in the city center of Schagen. This was achieved thanks to the catering industry, the organization of Schagen on Ice and all sponsors. The artificial ice rink will be constructed from November 29. The ice rink opens on December 8.

Navy Museum

Step aboard a real submarine this Christmas holiday. At the Navy Museum you will learn everything about the past, present and future of the Navy in the Netherlands and Den Helder. With many different exhibitions you will become a real connoisseur. Click for more info.
